The first 15 mins of the NKF show was amazing... i was stunned by the many prizes and cash that they are giving out to kind hearted people who donate their money and it was as though the whole show was gonna to be on giving out these prizes. And second thoughts struck me that NKF was seriously so rich or that the sponsers were so rich and so generous in giving these prizes out so as to attract young people to call in to donate. I began to wonder if NKF could raise a lot more funds had the sponsers simply donating these prizes to NKF instead. Why go through al thee troubles to give out these cash and prizes when people do not donate to earn these prizes and spending so much time on telling people you can win this and win that everytime we come back from the commercials? The rationale here is quite contradicting to me. Learn from Ren Ci charity PLEASE!!!!!
They were also talking about how much the patients feel the pain and that they have to spend on the treatments. Thats why te performers of mediacorps have to undergo dangerous performances such as Jack Neo staying with the millions of bees for a few mins, or Sharon Au stepping on these samurai swords or Zoe Tay having to guess where the real knief was... Such performances were what i deemed to be evry unneccssary dangerous acts and by dong all these will not definitely make the patients feel any better. And the worst thing is either that we are too old to think using out brains or that we are too young and ignorant of what is actually going on, we can easily tell that Sharon Au stepping on the samurai swords were all fake. Ohh maybe she has really mastered some kung fu that can make her to become as hard as iron but come one man... that is really bulshit. Who wont know that there wont be nay dangerous acts being put up in front of a National TV.. especially when our boss Mr Goh is present in the studio...
Needless to say, NKF seems like a big and rich begger who makes no difference from those begging for money except that they are using famous local and overseas people to raise money... The only difference is that NKF is licensed and the ones who are really begging are not licensed.
However i must say that the short clips were very well done and that the individual stories really touched our hearts. There are people who really need our help out there and we shouldnt just help them only when there is such a show such as NKF charity.

Not suprisingly even the participants in the show chose 美女白痴, and the reason is you can teach the pretty girl steps by steps but if the girl is not appealing at all you dont have the energy at all even though you admire her talents. They even said the girl must at least be average looking and a ugly one is a definitely no no.... how realistic this world is... bu t i agree with their views totally hahahha. Holiday liao... still dont know Shiyun... sad..... Study bah!!!
